Santa came!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we celebrated with Jason's side of the family. Everyone came over to our house and cooked and hung out. Next on Christmas Day we spent it with my side of the family and went out to my sister's in Canton. Unfortunately I was sick the whole time, but still had a very nice Christmas.

Christmas this year was alot of fun with Jaxon. He loved ripping into the presents and oohhing and awwing over what was inside! He was very spoiled this year and the pictures don't even begin to show what all he got. So for his birthday NO TOYS!

Santa!

I took Jaxon to the mall today to meet Santa Clause! For all the little boys in front of us in line this was exciting. However, when we got up to Santa Jaxon freaked out! Santa was very sweet and patient and totally understood.

Sorry I couldn't get out the red eyes! Let me explain our tree. If you notice all the decorations start above Jaxon's head this is because Jaxon hasn't learned the difference between balls and Christmas ornaments. So far he has thrown 3 of them and broke them. All the while yelling ball, ball, ball etc...

Gitty-Up Heidi!

Okay, so sorry I don't have any pictures for Thanksgiving! We had a great Thanksgiving however. We drove down to South Texas to Riviera so Jaxon could meet Jason's grandparents. We spent a few hours there and drove back. We spent Thanksgiving at my sisters in Canton. Then on Friday Jason cooked our first Thanksgiving meal and it was delicious. During the trip we stopped off in Austin to see Kurt and we got Heidi back. So now Heidi is a part of our family again! Yay 4 dogs!

We went to watch the Tech game at the Lobato's (poor Tech). Jaxon however had a wonderful time playing with all the girls! Here he is crawling through Campbell's pink tunnel.

We went to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. Jaxon loved Chuck E. from afar but once they actually met Jaxon wasn't so sure!

Rodeo Time!

This weekend Jaxon and I packed up and went to our old home of Canton. We went to watch my niece and nephew (Tory and Evan) ride in a youth rodeo (which their team came in 1st place). Jaxon had a great time seeing the horses, calves, and goats. He also enjoyed the ladies there. He was meeting all new ladies and loved to show them his tummy!


Jaxon has a fear of cowboy hats and this is Evan's attempt at putting the hat on Jaxon's head!

So today Jaxon grabbed my US Weekly (I think it may be last weeks) and pointed at Travis Barker and said da-da. I said no da-da's in Oklahoma. He went and played and came back and grabbed the magazine again and said da-da- he did this 2 more times. No offense Shanna but my husband is way cuter!

Halloween BUST!!!

Okay, so I don't know how ya'lls Halloween went, but ours was uneventful! So, Jaxon wanted nothing to do with his Turtle costume (I can't say that I was surprised). He screamed every time the costume came near him. Although he did learn to say turtle and treat for this day. So instead of Jaxon wearing the cute little turtle costume Jason did!

Jason and I went on vacation to Puerta Vallarta with some friends last week for 5 days! It was wonderful (pictures will be posted later when I have all of them). Until then here are some pictures from Jaxon's Nonnie (Jason's mom) who babysat while we were gone.


Nonnie bought a giant book of stickers to help entertain Jaxon while we were away. Here he is putting them on his feet and his face!

Okay, so this picture is taken by Jason when Jaxon was 14 months old. I have no idea where I was during this because I sure don't remember it and would never feed Jaxon this way. But apparently this is how Jason feeds or fed Jaxon if I was not around. It looks like he is eating some kind of oatmeal, watermelon, and beans. Yum! Who knows what meal of the day it is and you can't tell by the combination of the foods! Dads sure do things differently!

This was toward the end of our day and Jaxon was not wanting to be still look at the camera and have his picture taken. This is his Mimi and cousins Evan and Tory.

We had a great Sunday! My parents were nearby in Canton babysitting my niece and nephew and we all met up at the Dallas Arboretum. All except Jason, he had to go back to OKC early. We had a great time, Jaxon loved playing (and throwing the pumpkins).

Okay, so today I was in the kitchen and I heard Jaxon whinning. I told him I was on my way and when I got in his room this is what I found. Jaxon stuck in the drawer. He was pulling out blankets and climbed in and couldn't get out. It was so funny!





Jaxon is also having an aversion to pants and if we aren't going anywhere I let him run around pantless, so sorry about being half naked!
